Dante is part of the ‘Team Effort’ squad on the RIO GRANDE. After recently graduating to the status of Lancer pilot, his combat focus is on long-range sniping and accurate firearms. He is currently engaged in his first official combat mission, to retrieve several VIPs from a beseiged city on the planet of Cressidium.

Elenor is an NHP (Non-Human Person) that recently passed the required software evaluation to qualify to mech combat missions. She is the primary hacking expert assigned to the ‘Team Effort’ squad and is currently positions on Cressidium to locate the missing VIPS.

Notes:
Ellis is one of the oldest graduates of the Lancer pilot training. He was allowed to qualify for training after years of service as a mech engineer. His combat expertise focuses on mobility and melee domination. He has engaged in his first mission to rescue several important VIPs, missing on the planet of Cressidium.

Firell pilots the largest and tankiest mech within the ‘Team Effort’ squad. Towering over his allies, his ability to act as a protective wall for his team and a barricade to his enemies is uniquely helpful. He is currently involved in the search for the missing VIPs on Cressidium.

Gorgon spent his youth running with the Osprey Club thieves guild in Otari. After repeated failures and mistakes that jeopardised various jobs, the guild leader, Yinyasmera, arranged for his arrest. Gorgon then spent 5 years in an Absalom prison. During that time, he turned to the Sarenrae faith and was released on good behaviour. After returning to Otari, he quickly became involved in the group known as Rose Warden, and now helps them delve into the secrets of the Gauntlight.

After joining the US Military, Guy went on several missions that fell to disaster, and left him as the sole survivor. His luck continued to fall as not long after, he was assigned to an arctic search and rescue mission and soon found himself on the USS Morningstar research vessel. This mission resulted in a near total disaster.

Kate was a doctor in a high-population US city. After some unfortunate events, she moved to the arctic town of Barrow and worked as the local doctor. When the US military requested local guides from the area for a top secret mission, Kate volunteered with the intention of keeping an eye on them and preventing major disruptions to the local area. This mission quickly became a nightmare as death occured all around her.

Katrina is the temporarily assigned leader of the ‘Team Effort’ squad. Her Lancer training had her focus on support techniques and objective-based prioritisation. She is currently engaged in the Cressidium mission to locate and retrieve the missing commander of the Rio Grande.

Lauri was moved from Spec Ops to Lancer training and graduated with the rest of the ‘Team Effort’ squad. Her upbringed instilled a interest in paracausal technology and the occult. Her mech training focuses on melee combat and gravitational manipulation. She is currently engaged in the search and rescue on Cressidium.

Maxwell is a lawyer-turned-negotiator for the US military. His past in not well known but he joined the Arctic rescue mission with the instruction of keeping the peace between the US military forces and the locally recruited guides. Still, not everything is as it seems with him and his charismatic behaviour soon broke upon facing the horrors hiding on the USS Morningstar.

Mei was born outside of Otari but moved there with her friend Wrin many years ago. She has a history of loss and being under-appreciated but has recently has returned to the role of hero after delving into the Gauntlight at Wrin’s request. A recent discovery has brought up questions about her family history and left her wondering what else was hidden from her.

Milo has spent his whole life in Otari, reading stories of heroes he wishes he could be. When the call for adventurers went out, Milo jumped at the opportunity to explore the Gauntlight and save the town. His tale has been quite different to the legends though, instead resulting in the death of his father and numerous diseases, curses, and infernal deals.

Misha was rescued and taken in by Bort at a very young age. In the years to follow, she became a daughter to him and an irreplaceable member of the team. When an unexpected murder takes place in Etran’s Folly, Misha must hunt down her fathers killer.

Namari struck out from her tribe to grow in strength but was met with fear and prejudice. Instead of becoming jaded, she joined with the Crimson Templars and dedicated herself to Ragathiel. More recently, she’s been travelling and sharing Ragathiel’s teachings. When Bort was murdered, she took responsibily for enacting vengence.

Ornifex spent her early years under the guidance of a follower of the Cosmic Caravan. When he vanished without warning, she travelled, eventually ending up with her Aunt, Magiloy, of the Crows Cask. As an exceptional healer, she quickly agreed to help deal with the threat of the Gauntlight.

Rock spent many years working as lawman in Absalom. After some gang crime left his lover dead, and no justice was served, he became manic and unpredictable. This led to his forced retirement, after which he moved to Otari and joined up with the heroes tackling the Gauntlight. Unfortunately, this task resulted in his death at the hand of a cult of ghouls.

Notes:
Sesto and his large family grew up in Otari for many generations. He and his summoned wolf, Tiny, worked at the Otari market as a guard until taking up the call to fight the evil within the Gauntlight. Unfortunately, after a werewolf attack on his father, Sesto fought the werewolf and died at its hands. His summoned wolf sacrificed its life in order to return him, but this resulted in the loss of his powers.

Spook is a native to Otari that was tricked by a travelling conman into entering the Gauntlight. When Spook was captured and his friends killed, the man fled. He spent a long year trapped in a torture chamber but was recently freed by the Rose Warden. He’s since joined up with them and enjoys exploring the dungeons challenges.

Wolfram once worked under a noble family, training their kids, however, after losing his family during the Goblinblood War, he fled south. After witnessing the death of Bort, he joined the efforts to find the killer and bring justice to those that deserved it.
