At 1st level, you are granted the gifts of the mighty Kraken.
- You can breathe underwater.
- You gain a 30ft swim speed.
- When you deal cold damage through a spell, you may ignore resistances and immunities.
- You gain an additional 1hp for each sorcerer level.
- You gain proficiency in light and medium armour.
Krakens Tentacles
(1st-level Kraken Bloodline feature)
At level 1, you can magically trigger the Kraken’s blood within you causing horrific mutations of your body. As an action, you can enter ‘Tentacle Form’ for 1 minute or until you choose to end the effect as a free action.
While in tentacle form you cannot cast spells that require a Somatic component but you instead gain 10ft reach and can use your Action to make 2 tentacle attacks. You may use your Charisma bonus for Tentacle attacks and damage. This attack deals 1d8 bludgeoning damage or you can choose to do no damage and instead grapple the target.
At level 10 you can make 3 tentacle attacks and at level 16 you make 4.
You can use this feature twice before needing to complete a short or long rest.
Innate Magic
(6th-level Kraken Bloodline feature)
At level 6, you learn to harness the magic of the Kraken while in tentacle form. While in Tentacle Form, as a bonus action you can enchant your tentacles with either cold or lightning energy. Tentacle attacks you make this round deal an additional 1d6 damage of the enchanted type.
Tentacle Master
(14th-level Kraken Bloodline feature)
At level 14, you gain the control needed to wield weapons while in tentacle form. While in Tentacle Form, you may wield up to 4 one-handed weapons or 2 two-handed weapons.
The attacks you make with these weapons replace your tentacle attacks.
Deep Sea Creature
(14th-level Kraken Bloodline feature)
At level 14 your body adapts to life at the bottom of the deepest oceans. You become resistant to cold and force damage.
Writhing Caster
(18th-level Kraken Bloodline feature)
At level 18 you learn to cast fully through your tentacles. You can cast your spells as normal while in tentacle form.
