Within the Oceans of Contest, the 3 Pirate Lords hold unrivalled power and on rare occasion, they share share this power with their closest followers.
Warlocks that make a Pirate Lord their patron are blessed with powerful tools from which to channel their dark magics. Magical pistols, nefarious magics and the dreaded black spot are all powerful tools that a Pirate Lord Warlock can utilise to terrorise their foes.

Expanded Spells
(1st-level Pirate Lord feature)
The Pirate Lord lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Merchants Threat
(1st-level Pirate Lord feature)
At level 1 you learn the benefit of making your quarry surrender. You gain expertise in Intimidation.
The Black Spot
(1st-level Pirate Lord feature)
At level 1, you learn to mark a creature with the cursed Black Spot. As a bonus action, you may choose a creature within 30ft and cause the Black Spot to appear on them. After 1d4 rounds, at the start of the creatures turn, the marked creature takes a D4 of cold damage for each attack made against them since being marked. The Black Spot then fades.
The damage increases to a D6 at level 10 and to a D8 at level 14.
Once you’ve used this ability you can’t use it again until you complete a long or short rest.
Eldritch Firearm
(6th-level Pirate Lord feature)
At level 6, the Pirate Lord you offer your allegiance to blesses you with a magical pistol. This pistol fires the Eldritch Blast cantrip instead of bullets but deals necrotic damage.
When you kill a creature with the Eldritch Firearm you claim its soul. You can hold up to 3 souls. Upon making a successful attack with the Eldritch Firearm you can expend a soul to deal an additional 1d12 necrotic damage.
Quickdraw
(6th-level Pirate Lord feature)
At level 6 you can keep tabs on multiple threats. If a creature moves beyond 30ft of you, you may make a ranged weapon opportunity attack against that creature as a reaction.
Pirate Lords Proficiency
(10th-level Pirate Lord feature)
At level 10 you learn to draw upon you patrons experience. When on a ship, you add your proficiency bonus to all skill checks and saving throws made to interact with the ship.
When wielding any of the ships weaponry, it deals an extra 2d10 necrotic damage.
Eldritch Captain
(14th-level Pirate Lord feature)
At level 14 you can imbue your dark magic into the world around you. As an action you can cause the ship, town or environment to come alive and defend itself against threats. All hostile creatures within 100ft must succeed a Dexterity saving throw or take 3d10 slashing damage and 3d10 necrotic damage.
Once you’ve used this ability you can’t use it again until you complete a long or short rest.
